Jite Presents 2023 Budget Estimate of N6.1 Billion To Udu Legislative Arm.

As required by the enabling extant law, The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon.Chief Jite Brown (JP), today Tuesday 03/01/23 presented a budget estimate of six Billion, One Hundred and Sixty- Five Million, Six Hundred and Seventy- Two Thousand, Nine Hundred and Eighty- Nine Naira,Twenty- Seven Kobo(N6,165,672,989.27).
Explaining the budget which he Christened “Budget of Hope, Hon. Jite said the budget is anchored on the Delta State Government Development policy of SMART which stands for Strategic Wealth Creation, Meaningful peace building platforms,Agricultural reform and accelerated industrialisation,Relevant Education and Health policies and transformed Environment through Urban renewal. According to him, following the guideline on the preparation of this year’s budget emphasis was placed on housing and urban development, improvement on human capital, Health, environmental improvement among others
Responding on behalf of the Legislators, the Leader of the House Rt.Hon. Emmanuel Owholo while thanking the Executive Chairman and his Team for the prompt presentation of the Budget , promised on behalf of the house to ensure speedy consideration of the draft budget estimate for the progress of Udu Local Government.

Barrister Mrs. Eloho Awinoron, Mr. Omordio Mudiaga, HPM of Udu Local Government, Mrs. Okpobrisi Roseline Treasurer Udu Local Government, Hon. Ernest Mereh Supervisory Councillor for Finance, Hon Voke Bukuta Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon Senta Willie Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture, Hon. Dawho Samuel Secretary to Udu Local Government, Comr. Obruche Oghenejiru, Hon Eki among others.
